What is this test? The AMH (Anti-Mullerian Hormone) test measures the level of AMH in the blood, which is produced by developing follicles in the ovaries. It is an indicator of a woman's ovarian reserve (remaining egg supply). Test Instructions 📝 A simple blood draw from a vein. The test can be done on any day of the menstrual cycle. Reports - High Levels: May be associated with PCOS. - Normal Levels: Indicate a good ovarian reserve for age. - Low Levels: Suggest a diminished ovarian reserve. Why is it Done? 🤔 To assess ovarian reserve, predict response to IVF, and help diagnose PCOS.
